Friend to everyone (she likes) ... Meet NCFRIEND ...

So, where did it all start?
I was born in the wagon of a travelin show... oh wait.. that's not me...  I was born in Lakenheath England in 1966, the same month The Beatles gave their last live performance in the US.

Do you consider yourself stable or do you own a stable?
My father was an Air Force Sergeant so we moved around pretty frequently
until I was six and he retired here in NC where he grew up and so I grew
up in the foothills of North Carolina.  My little brother Jimbro, got the beauty, and I got the brains.. (or is that the other way around).

Are you a dreamer or a doer?
I went to college and learned a really useful trade, majoring in Communications Studies. (That's sarcasm there, apeminkie), and minored in something even more useful, Theatre Arts.  And as John Lennon says, "Life is what happens to you while you're making other plans" ... I went into the health care field.  First as a Nurses Aid, then later into a group home for mentally retarded adults,  working my way up to director; eventually I would work as an activity director for an apartment complex for independent seniors.  Seven years later, I'm still working as an activity director, only for an assisted living now.  They're much more fragile, but still as much fun.  Especially the dementia unit.

What do you do for kicks and giggles?
I am a Martha Stewart Girl in a Mister Roger's Neighborhood.  I love to plan parties, events, and fun stuff.  I like to see others enjoying themselves whether it's a meal I cooked, an event or activity I planned or something I did or created for them.

Do oil and water mix?
I married Mr. Perfect... no really.. look up the term "obsessive compulsive" in the dictionary and you can see his picture!  Together, this messy, creative, spur of the moment, spendthrift and that neat, logical, plan making, tightwad created a smart, beautiful, funny, did i say smart?, kid named James.  I am completely unbiased when i say that too.   As everyone close to me knows, he's the center of my universe.  He's made friends with several of my WISEOZ friends.  hutchess has him spoiled rotten and apeminkie is his new best friend for sending the robot kit!! And has chatted with several of them in the chatroom!!! Thanks Wiseoz family!
