EXPLAIN WHAT ALL OF THE STAGES HAVE IN COMMON.

The Dresden Files is a series of novels by Jim Butcher and was made into a TV show for the Sci-Fi Channel. The protagonist of this contemporary fantasy series is the wizard HARRY BLACKSTONE Copperfield Dresden. He works as a private investigator of sorts in CHICAGO and helps out Karrin MURPHY, a Lieutenant in the Chicago Police Department in charge of Special Investigations and appointed to all cases in which something unexplainable or supernatural is involved. Harry has a LAB in his basement where BOB (a spirit of air and intellect bound to a human skull) helps him create potions. Harry loves to drink COCA-COLA out of his ice box and he has a tailless cat named MISTER, which he found in a trash can. DEATH MASKS is the 5th book in the series.
