Submitted by prudence on November 9, 2008 - 5:53pm. The wolf passed silently behind the bars of steel. The little children made faces at him. He pulled his lips away from his teeth. The uniformed man pushed the children along. He threw a large piece of raw meat into the fox's cage. He muttered about the animals eating better than he did and moved on. Soon thereafter, the zoo closed. The sunlight faded into black, and the moon rose.

Lujoko

Submitted by madmad59 on November 9, 2008 - 4:31pm. My myth is about a white fox. He is known as Lujoko. When he was born to two red fox, and the pack considered him a bad omen. He was banished to live in the white cap mountains until he was old enough to find a way to break his curse. He spent years looking for "the great white wolf" that was to have cast this bad demon spirit into him.
